It’s that time of year again. It’s time to nominate your favorite group or organization for The Sin City Siren’s Charitable Giving List! Has your organization done something great for our community? Is your group doing important work? Now is the time to toot your own horn!
I’m looking for reputable groups that need donations of time, money, and/or services. Nominated organizations do not have to be registered as 501c3s (tax-exempt non-profits) to enter. But you have to be doing verifiable work. (I need to be able to corroborate your story.) So, if your running club is delivering hot meals to seniors on the side or if your non-profit is advocating for survivors of sexual assault… I want to hear about it!

Nominating Safe Nest: 34 years of providing Clark County with crisis intervention via 24 hour hotline, advocacy and empowerment support, counseling, community outreach and education, and confidential shelter for survivors and victims of partner violence. Funding has gone down, our client numbers are up and their needs have increased but committed staff and super-dedicated volunteers don’t stop.
