Title IX: Rally for girls sports

The National Women’s Law Center is hosting a Title IX webinar tomorrow called Rally for Girls’ Sports. Title IX, which became law in 1972, is designed to create equity for girls and women in the education system. Most notably, it has been used to create equal access to sports. Coaches, educators, parents and anyone interested in learning more about Title IX are encouraged to sign up and participate.

Want to learn more about Title IX and sports? Sign up for a webinar with Title IX expert Neena Chaudhry from the National Women’s Law Center. She will teach the basics, such as how schools can comply with Title IX and tips for recognizing Title IX violations in sports programs. All parents, coaches, school officials, and students who want to level the playing field are welcome.
