A prochoice rally for Planned Parenthood is scheduled at noon on Feb. 26, in response to a GOP-led vote barring the organization from using federal Title X family planning funding. Currently, Walk for Choice 2011 rallies are planned in more than 50 cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Washington D.C., Minneapolis, Portland, Ore., Anchorage, Alaska, the United Kingdom, and even Pakistan.

Event Details:

• What: Rally for Choice Las Vegas, part of the national, grassroots Walk for Choice across the nation on Feb. 26. We will have speakers – including Congresswoman Dina Titus – and live-streaming of the rally on the web. There will be Skype set up for folks outside Las Vegas for Planned Parenthood Q&A as well as tours of Planned Parenthood and information about what the organization does.
• Date: Saturday, Feb. 26
• Time: Noon
• Place: Planned Parenthood, 3220 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas*Please do not park in parking lot so we don’t block access to clinic.*
