This is going to really upset the homophobes out there: A 24-year-long study by The Williams Institute has found that the incidence of abuse in lesbian-headed families is…none, nada, zilch.This compares to 26% of American teens reporting child abuse and a sexual abuse rate of 8.3%. The study found that families with lesbian parents had absolutely no cases of any form of child abuse. Take that haters!

According to a Curve article:

Not only are children protected from assault but according to research, daughters and sons of lesbian mothers rate higher in academic competence and lower in social problems such as rule-breaking and aggressiveness.

So, rock on lesbian moms! And maybe you can teach a seminar on good parenting for the rest of us.
