Cause if you’d kick a kid in the face, maybe this isn’t for you. But even child-free folks like myself would like a world where kids don’t have to face poverty, unsafe conditions, lack of healthcare, cuts in education … and, you know, stuff like that.
In fact, there’s going to be a forum on just such issues on Wednesday, July 23 from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Clark County Library. There will be a panel of experts and politicians in from the community and lots of questions and discussion about how to make sure kids aren’t going hungry, staying sick or not getting educated, among other issues. The forum is being put on by the Nevada affiliate of Every Child Matters. Check it out!
