It’s been a busy day and a lot of amazing things are happening for the Fag Bug project in Las Vegas and with other cool local events:

• Las Vegas Fag Bug events finalized! We’re having a press conference for Erin and the Fag Bug at the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada at 10 a.m. on July 26.  [Update: the press conference has been canceled but all other plans are go.] And come meet Erin and enjoy some sweet music at the Beauty Bar, July 26! (Special thanks to Bobbie, Candice and Dawn for your super-hard work over the past couple days. Couldn’t have done it without you!)
• My friend and local artist, Jeff Hagen is working on creating a charity auction on Ebay for Erin. He has created three Fag Bug-inspired pieces in his own unique style. You can check it out on his Myspace page. I’ll get you word about the auction when it’s up and running!
• The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a group dedicated to help AIDS victims, is hosting Birthday Bingo on July 1. Bring a non-perishable food donation to benefit St. Theresa’s food bank. The event is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. at Alexis Park.
• Tomorrow is the second annual Animal Rescue Conference, hosted by Nevada Voters for Animals, at the Flamingo Library starting at 2 p.m.
