Friends, fans and random readers:

Today is a very special day for me and my family. Today is my daughter’s first birthday! So, I’m taking a personal day. But, well, this blogging gig is really an unpaid labor-of-love. Can you have a personal day from work you do for no benefits, money or other compensation? I have no idea. But I created this little Sin City Siren universe, so let’s say I can make the rules. (At least this once.) So, let’s call it a quick break from the action (and from what I’m hearing and reading about these last days of the legislative session, I’m going to be playing some mad catch-up when I get back on the grid!). Don’t worry, I’ll be back at it in no time!
