Here’s some news on bullying:

Care has a petition to urge Secretary of Education Arne Duncan to include sexual orientation and gender identity in anti-bullying programs.

I’ve seen some reference to a Spirit Day on Oct. 20, to remember the gay youth who took their lives. The idea is to wear purple (although that is the color of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which is going on right now). Still, this is a nice gesture whether or not it gains traction.
