Rep. Titus to Host Housing Workshop on Foreclosure Prevention on Saturday Beginning at 9 a.m.
Congresswoman Dina Titus will host another housing workshop this Saturday, March 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Centennial High School. The purpose of the workshop is to provide people in the community with help and information on foreclosure prevention, loan modification, refinancing options, and expanded eligibility for certain programs.
The workshop will bring together representatives from the government, banks, and community housing and counseling organizations in order to answer questions and find solutions in an effort to keep people in their home.
In order to move people further along in the process of getting assistance, homeowners are encouraged to bring copies of the following: bank statements from the last two months, pay stubs from the last two months, a list of monthly expenses, hardship letter, and the last mortgage statement.
