I know I’ve ranted on this subject before, but what is up with the new Guess ad campaign? (Sorry for the poor quality scan. I couldn’t find a link or jpeg online.)

Is this really what Guess is telling people is sexy? And furthermore, this is how they want to show their clothes off to their best/most-flattering? Thigh-highs, hoochie shorts? She looks like she is working the corner, not working it. This is f-ing ridiculous! I know that fashion ads depict a scenario or circumstances outside of normal life. (I don’t ever forget to put a top on when I leave the house or casually lay upside down on some stairs, for instance.) But c’mon. Really?!
