Are we there yet?

I have election fatigue. Wake me when it’s over.

  • While I’m no friend of Palin’s I have to ask, does she really deserve to be the scapegoat if McCain loses?
  • Obama’s infomercial was boring so I stopped watching it. Maybe if it had been on at 3 a.m. … Other thoughts?
  • Exxon has biggest quarterly profits ever. Sigh.
  • Meanwhile … Goodbye 5-star resorts: Looks like Vegas is headed back to $5 buffet deals. Tourism industry says decline not over. We’re screwed.
  • Thanks to The Gleaner for this delicious dressing down of Joe Heck’s mailer. Alas, I cannot vote against him myself because I’m not in his district. But I encourage those who can to vote Breeden!
  • To my friends in Cali: Vote no on Prop 4. Parental notification laws are dangerous.

  1. Boring is good for Obama. McCain has been trying to paint him as some kind of exotic extremist, so the more he looks like Calvin Coolidge, the better.
