I am delighted to introduce The Sin City Siren readers to the newest feminist blog in Las Vegas: Neon Feminism. It’s the work of Aisha O’Brien, a journalism student at UNLV. (And perhaps others?)

For nearly a year now the little old Siren has been heralded as the only feminist game in town. Frankly, I started it because I was frustrated that there weren’t any local feminist blogs. (National blogs are awesome, but don’t do much for our community.) But I was hoping that if I forged a way, others would come. I’m not arrogant enough or naive enough to think that The Siren’s message is everything to all feminists.

So, welcome to the party Neon Feminism!
