I’ve been procrastinating some cosmetic changes to The Siren for some time now. (Still pondering a redesign with a different look.) Just thought I’d point out that I finally did one thing on my list: Sprucing up the blogroll. Don’t worry, nothing has been deleted. But things are shuffled here and there and a lot more has been added to categories like Eco, Get Involved and Rights (I can’t believe I didn’t have Planned Parenthood anywhere on the blogroll – doh!). In particular, I’m excited about Make It Right, Miracle Flights for Kids (which is local, by the way), Ecorazzi, Green Dimes (This service allows you to pay to opt out of junk mail. Did you know that America’s 4.5 million tons of junk mail a year wastes 100 million trees and 28 billion gallons of water? Yikes!) and Fair Trade Certified (not a bad place to get gift ideas). In addition, I started a new category: Charity. Let me know what you think and let me know if you have any suggestions.
