Even in the darkest times, you can find unexpected kindness.

Fellow writer Natalie Everett has stepped up to the plate and offered to be The Sin City Siren’s guest editor while I focus on my family. You may recognize her name from her journalistic work in Las Vegas (she’s native to these parts) and from posts here at The Siren. She is an awesome, young eco-feminist with a lot of ideas about the environment, animal rights and other issues. From the popularity of her previous posts here, I think she will be a perfect fit and will be able to keep The Siren fires burning (probably better than I do).

And I won’t be totally out of the picture. After all, this is my baby. I will still pop my head in from time to time when the mood strikes me. And thank you so much to those who have expressed kind wishes to me during this difficult time.
