Are you ready for the next Sin City Siren Book Club? We’re meeting in a little over a week, on Jan. 22!

In my last post I asked for suggestions on a good place to meet. (I am open to locations as long as they are non-smoking venues. wifi would be nice but is not required.) So far I’ve gotten one suggestion: The Beat Coffeehouse downtown. What say the group? I haven’t been there but have heard good things. Should we rock The Beat?

And don’t worry, you’ve still got plenty of time to read the book: Opting In: Having a Child Without Losing Yourself by Amy Richards. It’s all about the friction where feminism and motherhood intersect and tackles topics including the birthing experience, parenting roles and the mommy wars.

Remember: Deadline is Saturday, Jan. 22.
