Southern Nevada NOW’s next meeting is Aug. 17 at noon at the Flamingo Library. Did I mention I’m officially a member of NOW as of this month?
Speaking of awesome groups I’m a member of, the next Women’s Empowerment Network (WEN) meeting is also Aug. 17. 10 a.m. at The Gay and Lesbian Center of Southern Nevada.
Oh, and BTW Nevada is a presidential swing state in 08!

For four Tuesdays starting Sept. 16 we’re showing movies that will get you fired up to bring social justice to America and the world! Disparities in healthcare. Immigration. Coal-fired power plants.
